Graphic Novel Defined in One Sitting

A graphic novel is book with original visuals in bedded in a variety of different genres. In simplified terms; a graphic novel is a novel in comic-strip format. I currently only own eight Comic books all in which are either DC or Marvel comic books, in which are the most popular style of graphic novel to the teenage crowd. My favorite at the moment is Batman: Death in the family; I personally don't known it but I have read it and studied the phenomenal visuals throughout  the novel. Although they are called novels they tend to be very quick and short reads, but they will have multiple series to make up for it, in which they are called volumes instead to sort of connected them in a chapter sense. Most graphic novels have original artwork by real artists and not just art created electronically. For instance as children's books are graphic novels Dr Seuss books possessed the original art be Theodore Seuss Geisel himself. Graphic novels have a more personal appearance than other novels because it is the art of someone just like us. Sure it's copied and digitized onto paper but the work and practice of the art will always be there. That's part of the reason why graphic novels are so popular and appealing to many people. I promise you that AT LEAST once in your life you have enjoyed a good ole graphic novel.
